ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Ben. I moved to Calgary this January for a fancy engineering job, after graduating from Queen's in Kingston, Ontario. I don't know a lot about the city, but I'd love to explore it with you. Things I do when I'm not working or napping include climbing, cycling, cooking, and making music.

I've done quite a bit of surfing (in Europe and the US), hosted in Kingston for several years, and organized weekly CS potlucks there as well. I'd really like to start hosting again and get to know the community in Calgary (read: I have no friends!). My apartment is very sparsely furnished right now, but I do have the basic necessities for hosting (i.e. a couch), so send me a message if you're surfing in Calgary!

If you bear with me, I can probably teach you a tune on my little travel ukulele. I know a bit of Swedish and I can tie a tie pretty well.
