ABOUT ME

I consider myself as a fun, easy-going and open-minded guy. I'd like to go out and have drinks with my friends. I also like to sit down at a coffee shop and have a good long conversation about life and events. I suppose I am a good listener, most of my friends come to me for advice and I try to help them. I am a pisces so you should know I am a very emotional person, not in a crier kind of way, but I live every emotion very deeply and little things - bad or good - affects me more than it affects other people. In general, I am a simple man, very easy to figure out, I don't like complicated situations. I say what is on my mind bluntly.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is keep an open mind about everything. There are a lot of things in life we approach with doubt and bias and we all do it even if we claim we are super liberal about stuff. I am in a place in my life that I am trying to understand everyone, every lifestyle chosen, every opinion, every culture, every religion and belief systems. The world yearns to love. I guess I'm just trying to be a good person and an all-time-supporter of equality no matter who you are or where you come from. I live to explore, learn and love.

Interests

I like everything that's fun and exciting. But two things come first in my life when it comes to interests: Concerts and travelling. I love music (almost every genre) and being in a live show atmosphere thrills me. Also my main goal in life is to see as many places as I can before I die. Meet new people. Explore new cultures. Try different food. Even when I am in a bad financial situation, I always try to save up for a quick getaway with my friends or alone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love European cinema, but sometimes I watch crappy Hollywood movies just to have fun and relax. I am huge fan of Woody Allen. I also like the movies of Fatih Akin, Ferzan Ozpetek, Lars von Trier a lot. Also, I don't know if they count as movies, but I am love with all George Carlin stand-up shows. The man is a genius.

For music, I am open to every good, unique artists although I am mostly into Soul, Trip-Hop, Electronic and Indie music. But I like to dance to a goof upbeat song as well. Huge fan of Sade, Amy Winehouse, Tori Amos and PJ Harvey.

As for books, I am a big fan of Stephen King, I wish I had enough time to read all of his books. I like the style of Charles Bukowski and Chuck Palahniuk. And as a huge Harry Potter fan, I feel responsible for naming Mrs. Rowling here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if they were amazing, but I really enjoyed:

- Getting in the warm water in Pamukkale travertines
- Flying in an air balloon over Cappadocia
- Going up to the Space Needle in Seattle
