I'm very inquisitive about the world, and traveling is the best way for me to fulfill that. I did a solo cross country road trip for 3 months in 2013. I have been fortunate enough to find a profession (poker) that allows me the freedom to do something like this. I began playing poker in college, had success and decided to become a professional poker player upon graduation.

I love the idea of actually befriending locals and being immersed in their life - it's the best way of experiencing new places. I had a half dozen CS experiences on my road trip in 2013

When I turned 21 in 2008, I rented a house in Las Vegas with 5 other poker players from 4 different countries. We only knew each other through the internet, and that month of living with them enriched my life. It was my first experience interacting with others outside of my normal bubble.

Also, first visiting Yosemite National Park in 2010 left me awestruck and ignited my passion for exploring national parks and other beautiful outdoor areas.
