Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being the change......staying positive, practicing kindness in action, forgiving myself and others regularly, and being an all around ladyboss and lightwarrior.
ABOUT ME
I have many loves in life: cooking great meals, community and friends, social permaculture, dancing, fermentation, festivals, photography, traveling, hot springs, and conscious connection. I am an outgoing extrovert, but I also like one on one time with people. I am always working on developing myself, and I believe in the goodness in all people.
PHILOSOPHY
Radical honesty, kindness, have a good sense of humor, be able to recognize and let go of the things that don't serve me anymore, and to look at life like a joyous dance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to organize and network, so I help to facilitate workshops and teach things like fermentation, movement/dancing, and conscious connection. I help to organize the Fun with Fermentation Festival in Eugene every year. I also love to pour my heart into good food, and organizing events that bring together community w/ a focus on food, learning, dancing, sharing, music, and fun.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been a big couchsurfer w/ a lot of my friends for years. I have lived out of my car for several months at a time as I've skipped about the western United States camping and staying w/ friends and family. I am self sufficient, polite and respectful, and like to contribute something, like helping to prepare a meal, or even if it's just a positive interaction or conversation w/ my hosts. I clean up after myself and often leave a place better than how I find it :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I generally read non-fiction: personal development, pretty much anything food-related, and I love to learn about permaculture related things (natural home-building, right livelihood, community development, gardening, etc.).
I don't have a t.v., but I do love movies. Especially comedies, documentaries, and independents.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started a pop up cooking school for festivals called The Nourishment Lab
Teach, Learn, Share
Fermentation, Dance/Movement, Conscious Connection/Play.
I would be interested in more hands on ways of learning new cooking skills, nutrition, beekeeping, anything permaculture related, nature, science, philosophy, and new forms of dance and movement.
What I Can Share with Hosts

Countries I’ve Visited
Costa Rica, Dominica, India, Japan, Kiribati, Nicaragua, Thailand
