Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Blanka from Budapest, Hungary. I'm an easy-going, open-minded person who loves to have fun and seeks adventures.
I've just started traveling last year when I left my small, hidden hometown in Hungary, but my philosophy nowadays has been like this - borrowed from Jim Morrison: "There's only four ways to get unraveled. One is to sleep and the other is travel."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love meeting new people, showing them my city the way I see it and I love situations where I'm pushed out of my comfort zone.
I always find all the people exciting, because everyone has something to teach, anad everyone has a story which inspires me one way or another. New people, new perspectives, new adventures, that's why I'm here.
Interests
In my free time, i love going out, spending time with friends over a beer or a good coffee, going to concerts, theather, restaurant, cinema, galleries and museums. As working at a fashion magazine, you can guess that I spend much time with shopping, too. I don't like sitting at home, I'm always on the run, but if I'm home, I love reading and listening to music. My hobbies also include photography.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love indie rock and indie folk. My biggest fav is Alt-J, but I'm also crazy for bands and artists like Florence + The Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Death Cab for Cutie, Glass Animals, Black Keys, The Kooks, Tame Impala, The Neighbourhood, The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Crystal Fighters, Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, Bon Iver, Chet Faker, Miles Kane, Jake Bugg and Lykke Li, but basically I love every music which has a guitar in it. Nowadays I'm beiginning to open for indie electronica, too, my newest obsessions are James Blake and Jamie xx.
When it comes to movies, i'm not really picky, i'm into all kinds of films from spectacular blockbusters to artistic indie movies. I try to watch as many movies in the cinema as I can, so I keep myself updated. Luckily, in Budapest are many indie movie theatres so It's always fun and not really expensive. My fav series are How To Get Away With Murder and Greys Anatomy.
And by books, I prefer the classic novels like The Great Gatsby, 1984 and so on, but I try to keep up with the actual big hits, too - the last book I read was Life of Pi, and it was amazing.
