ABOUT ME

I try to let go of inhibitions and really experience new places without expectations, reservations or complaints. I love to learn the small details that really define each city rather than only its monuments.

I am absolutely a California girl at heart (I grew up in Sacramento, and studied in the beachside Santa Barbara), but when studying in Europe, I really felt at home! Each place I visited was even better and more exciting than the last...I wish I could "study" abroad for the rest of my life!

Now I am back in California and so very thankful for all of my travel opportunities that I had this past year. I had a great time and can't wait to go back to Europe!

I have met a few people through CouchSurfing, and many of my friends have had wonderful experiences with it as well!

Interests

traveling of course, photography, music, the Pacific Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, new & crazy foods, learning about European cultures and history, politics, getting better at speaking French!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living across the street from the Pacific Ocean & climbing Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh! Also, seeing the Fête des Lumières here in Lyon, as well as a beautiful boat ride through the Calanques on the Mediterranean in Cassis.
