ABOUT ME

I love doing big cycling trips in the summer (several thousand kilometers), but during the semester I'm just average sportiv.
During my internship in Bavaria and while cycling in British Columbia I discovered that beer is much more than you can by in the supermarket.
I love my student residence; it's a great place to be. We have a great social live and here you can be as you are.
I'm very enthousiastic about my studies, mechanical engineering. It helps me unterstanding how the world around me is working and helps me finding better solutions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Basically I prefer camping wild while I'm cycling, but for the bigger cities Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get an authenic and real experience from a city.

Whit couchsurfing I have the posibility to meet people with very different backgrounds, geographicly and personally. For exemple it's a possiblity to meet people from Cuba, also if you neigther have time nor money for traveling to Cuba.

Interests

I love French cheese, so time by time I take my bike and cross the border with it (1hour), so you should always find at least one real French cheese in my fridge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Definitly my summerholidays 2012 in Canada. I've crossed the Rocky Mountains by bike, lived for a while in Vancouver and did the West-Coast-Trail

Or my Germany trip 2014:
In February: Hamburg, Berlin, Köln, München, Frankfurt, Koblenz, Mannheim in only 3 days by train with the "BahnCard Gold"
In July: Basicly every German major city and on top of it the Baltic Sea and Bavaria during on month with a Germany unlimited ticket from our railway company (in total almost 13.000km)
