ABOUT ME

We are Team Lexington, a community of artists, performers, vagabonds and ragamuffins who have been serving the bay area with our particular brand of absurdism since 2006. We create meals out of dumpsters, art out of garbage, and entertainment out of the raw materials of our bodies, voices, and hearts. We are tutu-wearing, gender-bending, prank-playing shit starters working through every moment of our lives with a colorful flare and a snappy comeback.

PHILOSOPHY

We are passionate about fostering the concept of an activist underground: a network of like-minded people spanning the globe with a mutual interest in the free exchange of resources. Those resources include shelter, food, art, ideas, information, skills, community, entertainment, and friendship. Community is the foundation of creative growth.

Teach, Learn, Share

Our community offers weekly potlucks, free dance and voice classes, performances all the time, sewing and knitting assistance, baked goods, and hearty laughter.
