About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making things move on the big screen. I'm passionate about films and stories!
ABOUT ME
Sometimes light-hearted, sometimes serious, in any case optimistic an curious.
I enjoy getting a real taste of the places I stay in, so stay for longer, learn the language and history of a place, meet the locals - less is often more. I don't want more experiences at all costs, but search instead for the quality and intensity of what is already there. Few things are as important as freedom, possessions just weigh me down. I love learning things.
I enjoy hearing other people's thoughts and views, whether I share them or not, and like to every now and then challenge what I take for granted.
I also like to just hang out, have fun, and not taking things too seriously, dancing and partying :)
PHILOSOPHY
Whatever it is, once you've made it through you can laugh and marvel at it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I didn't host nearly as much as I wanted to, because I am constantly on the move in small apartments,. I also don't surf too much because I prefer to stay for weeks in a place I visit to get a real feeling. But I love participating in events when possible!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed two sofas in London (a great experience, with all the unexpected ups and downs that come with last-minute planned private-accomodation), in Canterbury, in Ireland, hosted in Birmingham and met amazing people just meeting for a drink and a chat in the South of France

Music, Movies, and Books
Movie: American Beauty, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, Lars and the Real Girl
Music: it's less a question of what and more of "for how long".
Books: everything that gives me new ideas
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept on a park bench in Paris when a host ditched me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give you drawing lessons and explain the behind-the-scenes of your favourite animated films. I can tell you some things about psychology and teach you how to play the Ukulele.
I am up for silly light-heartedness and serious philosophical debates. I enjoy people who can do both.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My many stories form travelling near and far, advice on starting over in a new country, and a passion for good productive conversations!
