About Me

Canadian 🍁 international student living in Germany 🇩🇪.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently not hosting because I moved to Germany and live in a student dorm at the moment (plus you're probably not that keen to visit small town Osnabrueck).

Interests

How shall I start? Music, dance, arts, literature, exploration, philosophy, traveling, languages, science, volunteering abroad, writing, guitar, ukulele, paddle-boarding, kayaking, singing, French, Spanish, outdoors, not following recipes, appreciating my surroundings, and the list goes on, etc.

This profile was written years ago (and it's nice to reread to be reminded of my past self so I haven't changed it) -- Currently I'm doing my masters in cognitive science in Osnabrück :)

~Rollerblading by the seawall in Stanley Park at night(and only falling down once)
-The view up Tryfan and Snowdon, in Snowdonia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Rules of hitchhiking (what I learned going to Morocco):

Don't turn down a ride if you are not sure you'll get another
Look positive/friendly and attract attention
Get dropped off at service stations
Ask people!
Make sure the car has a place to stop
Hold up a sign with your destination
You can't get long distance lifts within a town
Get out of town centre to the road where cars are going towards your destination
It's hard to get out of a town
