ABOUT ME

I'm a female with five sisters, two sets of parents and a 3 pound chihuahua! I work in TV and am getting really stoked on the production side of things now so am going back to school. I want to get more general knowledge, esp in history, art and physics.I have lots of ideas for TV docs and am excited to get going. Right now, travelling in Europe is balm for my soul - I have a really full and busy life when at home and so am feeling fantastic, staying in pensions, hostels, riding bikes in the big cities, hiking in Austria near Friedberg, going to galleries, blogging and taking oodles of pictures. Met some family in the netherlands, Munich and Graz too for the first time. Life is good!

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to be a "taker". I like to give back to the world through awareness (of myself and others), volunteering, empathy, kindness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to Couchsurfing but am really excited to be a part of this community both in Europe and here at home in Vancouver/L.A. The concept is fabulous - how much more rich is the experience of staying with people who are alive to all the events, culture and happenings in the places I travel to.When I'm at home, how cool will it be to host some of the wierd and wonderful people in this world, show them my world and to be able to give back to the community by hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Soon I hope! I have sure stayed with lots of friends in cities in N. America like Toronto, Berkeley, New York and LA and have slept on some pretty comfy couches from time to time but not as a mamber of "Couchsurfing". I only just heard about it
