CURRENT MISSION

I just finished a 3-month long trip with my baby girl in Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Australia, and New Zealand. I am a single mom and started my journey when my baby was only 2 months old. My next mission is a 4-month long “solo” trip in Southern Africa with my girl from August-November 2023.

Hey! I'm Tanzeem, a globe-trotting tech enthusiast merging tech, travel, and women's empowerment. Originally from Dhaka, I've found personal growth in Munich and consider myself a citizen of the world. I am also a mom of a teen and an infant, currently on parental leave, and traveling as much as I can with my little one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m more interested in the local people and culture, and the off beaten path than a whole tourist package with some culture thrown into it.

My most favorite books are “Around the World in 80 Days” and “Three Men on a Boat”. I am currently reading “Before the Coffee Gets Cold” series by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. Also trying to write my own books, but somehow I am getting random writer’s block >.<

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From the Balkan to the far east: traveled one month in the Balkan, then by Transsiberian Train from Moscow to Vladivostok (Mongolia in between), then by ship to South Korea. Traveled from July 2023-September 2023. Solo trip while pregnant.
