About Me
Hello everyone on Couchsurfing!
I'm excited to be here, and meeting so many great people. I've learned a lot from everyone's different views of the world, which has really opened my eyes.
I'm a laid-back person who works during the week but loves to explore and connect on weekends. I enjoy making time for my guests and creating memorable experiences together.
If you're looking to relax, see some local spots, or just want a friendly place to stay, I'm here to help. I hope we can share stories and learn from each other.
Can't wait to meet more of you and see more of the world together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet new people and make a new friendship.
Interests
I love science and technology, a passion that grew from studying engineering in Japan. This experience sharpened my skills and made me appreciate innovation even more. I’m always curious about new tech wonders.
I also practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu, starting nearly three years ago. It’s taught me discipline and strength, and in January 2023, I earned a blue belt after winning in competitions. This was a big achievement for me, showing how much I’ve learned and grown.
Besides jiu-jitsu and tech, I love reading and watching movies. They open up new worlds and ideas for me. If you have any book or movie recommendations, I’d love to hear them. I’m always looking to learn something new.
So, I’m into learning, staying active, and exploring different cultures. I enjoy talking about science, practicing martial arts, and discussing books or movies. I’m excited to meet people on Couchsurfing and share experiences.
Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy music, especially Bob Dylan's folk songs and their deep stories. I'm also starting to get into jazz, which feels like a whole new adventure for me.
I'm a big fan of Quentin Tarantino's movies because of how unique and unpredictable they are. I also love TV shows like "True Detective," "House of Cards," "Fargo," "Game of Thrones," and "11.22.63" for their interesting stories and characters.
For books, I really like "To Kill a Mockingbird," "Musashi," and "Sophie's World." They've taught me a lot about different perspectives and the human condition.
I'm interested in many kinds of music, movies, and books, and I'm always looking to discover more. If you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them. Let's share what we like and learn from each other!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2008, I joined nine other students on a unique adventure in Sumatra's jungle, living with indigenous people. Our goal was to teach the kids there how to read, write, and do basic math. But, the experience taught us much more about humility, wisdom, and survival than we ever expected.
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing is all about sharing and learning from each other, and I'm excited to be part of that! I've been practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for nearly three years and would love to teach you the basics if you're interested. If you also practice jiu-jitsu, let's share techniques and learn from one another. There's always something new to learn in martial arts.
I'm from Indonesia and would be happy to teach you some Indonesian language and culture. It might seem specific, but it's fun to know phrases from different languages.
I'm also eager to learn about art and music from you. I believe learning new things enriches our lives in amazing ways. Plus, I enjoy cooking and sharing meals with my guests. It's a great way to connect and enjoy our time together.
Let's use Couchsurfing to teach, learn, and share, whether it's about martial arts, languages, cooking, or any other interests. I'm looking forward to making great memories and exchanging stories with you.
