ABOUT ME
Well, I have lived in Ottawa my entire life.
I'm not too well-traveled but I've had itchy feet for as long as I can remember.
I have been through several...dilemmas in terms of my post-secondary. I have decided to follow my heart instead of my head and pursue Registered Nursing (and then live abroad). I was a Journalism student and afterwards I tried Political Science and English...I didn't struggle it just didn't do it for me. So, I am taking a year off, working and travelling my butt off (hopefully!)
I love meeting new people, spending time with friends and family, having a good time and I can't wait to get involved with CS.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to CS but am always happy to meet for a beer/coffee/walk around town or whatever, but no couch available for another year. I'd like to get involved in some local CS stuff as well.
I'm going to go sofasurfing in the spring, in Europe, and am looking forward to having an awesome time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the pleasure of meeting one of my favourite musicians this summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got pretty good french language skills - I'd love to spend time with someone who wants to practice conversational French (to help them as well as myself).
I have always wanted to learn to play the violin - I even have one, given to me for Christmas. If there's anyone out there who'd like to give me some pointers..I'd love to meet up =)
I've begun getting involved in art again, it's wonderful. I'm still a beginner however, but I'd love to spend time with another blooming artist.
When I'm surfing I'd be willing to cook, teach some English or French, and maybe do some book swapping.
