About Me

CURRENT MISSION

performing standup comedy across the world

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Saskatoon, SK. I began performing stand up comedy in 2007 and since then have been selected to perform for NATO soldiers twice, appeared on Bite TV's "Comedy Time" and CBC's "Laugh Out Loud." I've lived in Vanouver, Los Angeles, Toronto, and I'm currently in Saskatoon, SK.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep your eyes on the prize and realize, that the struggles going to come in all shapes and size, but you got to stay strong, don't let your knees buckle, got to keep the hustle, keep hustlin'. Let the lovin' come back to me. - Long Beach Dub Allstars

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a bit of a nomad but I hope to have a place in the future to host and get back some of the karma from all the great people that have let me stay with them in the past.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a girl in Calgary, AB for 2 nights while couch surfing and it was great. She came out to my show and we had a blast hanging out.

Interests

Comedy, snowboarding, reading, travelling, acting, writing, and whatever else that peaks my interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Moneyball, Outliers (or anything by Malcolm Gladwell), Born Standing Up by Steve Martin, Freakonomics.

Music: The Trews, Michael Franti & Spearhead, country, hip-hop, i listen to everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed comedy twice overseas for NATO soldiers in Iraq, Turkey and Kosovo. They let me train with military attack dogs, check out the black hawk helicopters and see a lot of things most people never get to. I've never felt more honored to do my craft.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's always a good idea to take the person you're staying with out for a meal. Seems like the least a person can do. Otherwise if they're busy, stay out of their way, and if they want to hang out even better.
