I really enjoying hosting CS'ers and learning about them, their interests and their travels. WHAT I DO NOT ENJOY is people requesting a couch when "I just need a place to crash & shower". I am not a free hotel and do not enjoy being treated as such. If you are not looking for any interaction with your host, then please look elsewhere. Sad to put this straight away, but I have been getting alot of these requests lately.

Couch surfers and surfees make the world a more interesting place! I've had CS'ers from all over the world - they open my eyes to worlds I never knew existed! I hope I can show them the best my city has to offer :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing could have prepared me for the view at the Cliffs of Moher on the western coast of Ireland - I was speechless. Seeing Ephesus in Turkey for the first time was also mind-blowing. When you realize you are looking at something that someone made with their hands over 2500 years ago, before the time of Christ. Well just AWESOME - to see how they used to live. What they knew!?!?! Just one thing I learned there - growing up in America - we learned Christopher Columbus discovered the world was round. Totally untrue. The ancient turks had globes and carvings depicting our earth as round - which existed long before 1492.
