ABOUT ME

I'm a lively person who loves to make new friends. As a social sience student at the university of Leipzig, I've got plenty of time doing whatever I like, e. g. going out, meeting friends, cooking, ...

As I've moved to Leipzig in 2010, I had to 'make the city mine'. So I can be a good host showing people round and making them having a nice time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Getting in touch with locals! That's what it's all about when you're in foreign city/country. It makes travelling more interesting, comfortable and enjoyable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I only couchsurfed via a friend. He organised two wonderful holiday trips to the Czech Republic and Slovenia. He also hosted several guys, both from Germany as well as from abroad. We always did sth together which was loads of fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

films and series: Star Wars, Under the Skin, Mad Men, True Detective, American Beauty, The Lives of Others, The Sopranos

music: The Smiths, Raidiohead, Shout Out Louds, ...
(mostly indie but also some electronic music as well as good 80s and 90s stuff and hip-hop evergreens)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Leipzig was the best thing I could ever do. I'm from Franconia (northern part of Bavaria) and I've never experienced such hospitality as I do here, every day. It's a wonderful place to live due to it's parks, events, old and affordable houses. You'll love it, too!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think a lot about sociological issues. And I'm interested in how to make the earth a better place by trying not to consume to much but rather to take care of what you have. My flatmates and I talk a lot about emotions and social life. I'm not quite sure whether I can teach you something, however, talking and discussing about anything makes one taking care about things, he or she has never thought of before - which I think is an enrichment.
