About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting enough wood for the long winter
ABOUT ME
We are a small family of three, living in a small mountain village in southeast serbia. For the past twenty years, we've lived and traveled all across Europe, the US and other places around the world. For some strange reason, we decided to settle here, at least for the time being. We have a small house and a yard and are working on getting it from its initial state of non-livable, to cute and adorable.
Together with some other friends, we are in the process of creating a sustainable eco-farm on the other side of the village.
PHILOSOPHY
Things are more like they are now than they've ever been.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have both crashed on more couches than you can possibly imagine. Paul once went an entire spring crashing on a different couch every night. Now of course we're in our late 30s with a toddler and much more chilled.
Interests
Books. Music. Mythology. Philosophies and theologies of strange and various types. Natural.... you know, organicy stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
Paul, the big reader will now list a couple of awesome books: Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, Perdido Street Station by China Mieville, The Baroque Trilogy by Neal Stephenson, House Of Leaves by Mark Danielewski, and the list could continue on forever. I like speculative fiction the best.
Maja on the other hand can chew your ear off about Foucault.
