ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old Sailor living in Halifax, NS. I've been in the military for three years now, and have started travelling more and more on my own. I surfed in Germany, Vermont, and Eastern Canada. I host every chance I can.

I live a simple life by going out of my way to remove stress, so my day to days are rather relaxing. The more I travel, the more I am addicted to it.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a simple life free of discretion and restraints. Ultimately, Honesty and Integrity will set us free.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Roommates permitting, I can allow people to stay for a short term arrangement, up to a few days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing: Every time I surf a new persons couch, I have a better and better time. From music festivals, to drinking, to adventures all day, everybody who lets me in leaves me with a solid positive impression on this community.

Hosting: I've hosted close to 10 people now, and the more I do it the better I feel I become at offering better experiences of Halifax. It's also an excellent way to turn an otherwise boring week into something extraordinary.

I'm a bit more involved with Sci Fi for books and a hodge podge for music. Orson Scott Card, Arthur C Clarke, Neal Stephenson, Isaac Asimov, and Chuck Palahniuk are some of my favourite authors.

I am in love with the Symphony. Every time I go I am blown away, and I love dressing up and hearing beautiful music. I also like folk music as well as electronic music, on top of various rock artists.

Not only because I am in the Navy, but I am in love with rope and knots. I'm fairly adept at tying knots, and can teach people simple yet effective ones.
