ABOUT ME
I am originally from Israel. I was born and raised in Kibbutz, a socialistic farming community.
I graduated with a PhD in 2001 and then moved to Boston for a post doctorate at Harvard.
My profession took me in 2006 to San Diego and I lived in La Jolla for 4.5 years. The last year of those 4.5 years was one hell of a time where I received a big slap in the face from dear life, eventually making my way out into a new life and work in Thousand Oaks, near LA. Today I live and and work in SF and that is a good place for me.
My intellectual and spiritual interests include the spiritual psychology of E. Graham Howe, humanistic philosophy, humanistic psychology, Buddhism, as well as, the forces that shape a society and its power in molding the human character and personality. Lately, I entered into the spiritual psychology of E. Graham Howe and find him fascinating and very wise man, Thank you Henry Miller for the recommendation who said that Howe is "The Wisdom of the Heart. Howe was never really accepted by the West, especially in America, and was considered esoteric. To ignore him is a great loss. His books should be in the hands of every physician and on the bedside of each one of us.
In the physical sphere I am active in motorcycle riding with preference to off-road and long distance camping trips. I love snowboarding and try to do that in winter. I swim one hour, four times a week and that is pure cleansing, within and without.
PHILOSOPHY
Read: The Holy Mountain, The Psychic Compass, and The Road And The Wheel in the book The Triumphant Spirit and it summarizes part of my working attitude and philosophy to life and experience.
Another part is the technique of the Cup, which symbolizes an attitude of Acceptance, which is necessary if your goal in life is wholeness.

Interests
In the physical external world of our familiar field, I mostly like off-road motorcycle riding. In winter I enjoy very much snowboarding. I am an avid swimer and was a long distance runner until my ankle became sensitive. I would want to be engage with meditation.
In the unknown and unseen world of that other ground, I am very much engaged in the wisdom of the heart, the living spirit, and the Eastern sensibilities.
