About Me

CURRENT MISSION

change the world one hug at a time

ABOUT ME

I miss my horse desperately. I loved living in Europe and was immensely changed for the better by my experiences. I want to see as much of the world as possible; to experience other cultures, languages, and people, understand what makes them tick.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone in this world has something to offer, something to teach, if only you are receptive to learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just begun, but I'd love to get involved as much as possible. This is how the world should be, open-minded people sharing their homes and hearts with fellow adventurers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A lot of my experiences were unofficial, meeting people along my travels or staying with friends of friends, but I have also now hosted a few people, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them.

Interests

Artistic and creative expression in any form, spending time with horses, meeting new people, food and all of its multifaceted aspects (the cultivation, the allocation, the preparation, and the enjoy-ification), pedaling around on my utterly-impractical-but-delightfully-awesome petite bicyclette, and generally having adventures of any kind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything I can get my hands on, and always searching for more. Some favourites: Harold & Maude (movie), Sigur Ros (music), and Off the Map (book/zine).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent countless hours exploring California's trails and wilderness with my horsey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Forget what your parents told you when you were little, the "Don't talk to strangers" bit...Everyone is a stranger at some point, and it is only by talking to and interacting with these strangers that we can build relationships. Some of my dearest loved ones used to be strangers.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, France, Italy, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, Switzerland, United States
