About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live by coincidence and explore the country and meet and share experiences with all sorts of different people
ABOUT ME
I believe we're all here to help expand the possibilities of each other. I enjoy walking all day, exploring wilderness and cities and big open hearts. I like ivy covered, brick alleys, green hills and snow-capped mountains. I love ditching the 'comfort zone', experiencing new things. I've gone hitchhiking around the country a few times, write fiction and had a few short-stories published in the e-mag Vagabonds. I've yet to couchsurf, and definitely can't wait till I get to!
PHILOSOPHY
You're on this Earth to open doors for the rest of humanity... Share yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've put together several CS meet-ups in Columbus and have gone to a number of other ones. I haven't couchsurfed yet, nor have I been able to host (currently sharing a studio-apartment with little furniture because we like traveling better!)
Interests
I love writing and reading and thinking and talking and singing obnoxiously loud at traffic and little crooked brick paved alleyways and defiance and traveling and traveling and traveling. I love people and places and all states of mind, the faded advertisements painted on the sides of old brick buildings, cafes and bars and people who love life with the wild excitement and wonder that burns through the future before it ever arrives. I love experiences of all sorts and great conversations and going till I can't go any more. I love hammocks and cool evenings after hot days in the heat and sun, the smell of fresh cut grass and the way the dew cools your soul in deep morning-fresh breaths.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent spring break my freshman year in Central Europe. Best week ever. Then I hitchhiked from Columbus to North Carolina. It wasn't a big trip, but it was my first experience on the road. I went it alone and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing adventure. That's when I realized my time on the road has only just begun. Last fall I hitchhiked across the country to LA, went back home, wrote short-stories, saved up money and am now on a roadtrip around the country with my better-half.
