ABOUT ME

Hey everyone! I am changing things up for this new adventure in Colombia, which I hear is the happiest country!!

My name is Brittany and I am 23 and I am traveling with Jordan who is 24. Jordan teaches high school French and I teach preschool. We are a people-loving couple; we love to meet new people. We like to travel, try new things (especially food), and learn new languages. In Colombia we both are trying to work on our Spanish, entonces solo hablan en español! I speak Italian and he speaks French and we both are American. We love talking about everything and anything, especially fascinating things and we love to find something fascinating in all things.

Neither of us drive cars because we are in love with bicycles. We love riding bikes, looking at bikes, talking about how bicycles are going to change the world. The only thing better than riding a bike in sunny weather, is to ride that bike to a cafe with outdoor seating and a beautiful espresso!

I love going out with friends and staying out late at night, or going to a concert, or sitting drinking wine in the square, or finding a relaxing bar to talk, or dancing (maybe not so well) all night long. I enjoy movies and books and music and art and combine them all together with a cup of coffee and I am pretty much in heaven. Also I like experiencing other cultures! Food, art, ways of life all around the world!!!

Always interesting! I have met some of my best friends through couchsurfing and I have seen some really wonderful things that would not have been possible without this network.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year in Venice and had the most amazing time of my life. Now I can't function in normal society.
Carnevale at Venice...non c'è parola.

In Budapest I went into a 80 degree sauna then right after a 16 degree pool (Celcius).

Bonnaroo! A three-day musical festival in Tennessee, U.S. It was an amazing experience, I did not sleep for three days (or shower), but it was so beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can only promise that I will laugh a lot! I feel that I learn from every person I meet, and I hope to be able to teach others as well (we are teachers after all!) We know one fun language game if you want to practice French, Italian, or English!
