About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Doing research for my degree - PhD in Anthropology. Not much else to think about, its quite time consuming ahhhhhhhhh
ABOUT ME
Relax, cuppa tea, go out, cup of coffee, beer, wine, food; I'm a happy man!
PHILOSOPHY
Yet to be discovered, but maybe we can talk about it over a a meal and a drink or two. Some banana bread and a coffee, a cuppa tea and a scone, I don't mind. Pretty easy going and I equally like talking rubbish and laughing all night or having an in depth conversation about world politics :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm an aspiring couch surfer and I have only stayed with someone once in Venice, Italy. I'd like to make some more connections and see what's going on out there in the world of couchsurfing. I'm currently traveling with my gf Laura, she's lovely :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had one interesting experience with couchsurfing, looking for some fun people to hang out with.
Interests
I love going out to have a chat, dance and a couple of drinks. Cooking is one of my favorite past times and often something I miss while I'm traveling so if I can make a meal for everyone that would be grand! Laura is Colombian so she's slowly teaching me Spanish. I'm slowly getting there....

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music, but not really a music man. You won't find me pouring over songs on itunes. However I like to find musically inclined friends to load me up with some good stuff.I like movies and I'll happily sit down to most of them. Excluding junky horror, anything too abstract and romance (unless its the Notebook...). Books have to be my fave out of these three, love a good read! I'm not sure if I have any genre I like in particular. If its well written I'll usually enjoy it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pompeii, wow!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak Spanish at an advanced level (only just!) and I'm slowly getting better. I can give you some English or Spanish lessons if you're into it. Or I can teach you how to make banana bread :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy cooking, speak Spanish and English, chat, read, go to the gym, go for a walk! I'm very easy going and happy to share the little experiences just as much as the great big ones. Have to admit that filling myself with food and drink is one of my favorite ways to get to know people.
