ABOUT ME

I'm a gypsy, an inventor, a foodie, a free thinker, passionate, damaged, and always evolving. I just got a job in artificial intelligence in NYC, and I'm really excited to explore my new city! I spend a lot of my time doing photography and acroyoga.

I've lived in Portland Oregon, several places in Texas, Dayton Ohio, Boulder Colorado, and Salzburg Austria. I love travelling, and experiencing new things.

I also love meeting new people in general so let me know, even if you don't need a place to stay, if you want to meet up around town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been on Couchsurfing since April of '09, but had to set up a new account when I got divorced.

I love hosting people from all over (especially German-speakers, since I don't get a chance to practice often).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I ever heard of CS, a wonderful Parisian woman let me stay on her couch so I wouldn't have to spend the night homeless. I cooked dinner for her and a couple of her friends, and in the morning she even walked me to the bus stop to make sure I found my way.

Interests

I spend a large portion of my time studying about artificial intelligence, doing acrobatics (esp. stilts and acroyoga), and doing portrait photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hid out from an incredible thunderstorm in an abandoned shepherd's shack in the foothills of the alps--stayed up all night listening to the rain and the rolling thunder and watching the lighting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to brew beer, cook, fix a bike, or a bit of photography. Also, if you have any interest in acroyoga, I'd love to teach you, learn from you, or just jam with you.
