ABOUT ME

I'm on the downhill slide of my expected lifespan but like to think I'm on the right side of 30... I spent 4 years of a former life exploring the world while deciding how I wanted to live out the rest of my days. Growing up on the prairies I ended up in Kamloops in '92 because it was the only place I could put my education to good use. The move was intended to be temporary but the laid-back & adventure-accessible lifestyle here suited me to a to a 'T'. Home is where the heart is and this is home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't actually done any surfing through CS yet... BUT I have hosted a number of CS surfers... in broader terms I hitchiked over 25,000km throughout my prior travels and very much appreciated the hospitality of the people who picked me up, the personal contact with the locals, and a warm bed to sleep in... I guess you could say this is payback.

Interessen

Downhill Skiing... take as much advantage (i.e. every weekend) of the local ski hill (expert and off piste only) as possible during the winter months.
Running... some might consider me a fanatic but mostly marathon and Ultra Marathon distances.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Hmmm.... don't really know what to put in here... watch all types of film and listen to all kinds of music.... read a lot of running, ski and outdoor magazines.... sometimes catch myself watching way too much television.
