About Me
CURRENT MISSION
capture Europe, South America and five other continents
ABOUT ME
I am a simple, easy-going, communicative, independent, funny-wannabe guy. I feel free to be who I am, responsible for my own freedom, and respecting the differences.
PHILOSOPHY
Once total idealism can't be converted into real change, and total pragmatism is mostly insensitive, I try to live in between.
I want to be respected, thus I respect anybody else. Speaking and listening in order to avoid prejudices is the best way for comprehension.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and being hosted. I lived abroad for some time and I love to travel. Through CS I have met amazing people from many places around the world. It is also part of my family's culture to host relatives and friends. So, nothing more satisfying for me than receiving potential friends at home and sharing experiences with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Never had any problem with people met from this website. Even before I joined couchsurfing, I had already been hosted and hosting friends and friends of friends. I consider myself a natural born couchsurfer!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like movies and books that make me feel strange and think about any new aspect of life. Some movies I like: Trainspotting, Natural Born Killers, Inglorious Basterds, High Fidelity, Edukators, and many others. Writers: Günter Grass, Fernando Sabino, Thomas Mann, Samuel Beckett, Franz Kafka, and on and on...
Music: rock (classic, prog, grunge, indie, etc.), electronic (specially trance and minimal), reggae and brazilian music (samba, bossa and forró, but also pop & rock!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teaching basic informatics to a Juruna indigenous village by Xingu River in Amazon
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know what I could teach, as long as I don't know how much other people know about any subject I know. Forró dancing, Portuguese language, Brazilian literature, maybe. Ask me and I tell you what I can.
Learn: languages! Bring me some music from your country. :D
