I moved to Columbia SC in 2015. I work for the public library building their web site. I enjoy making digital art, more often than not with friends.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

One of my favorite things about Airbnb has been meeting the hosts and having conversations with them. But as time has gone on, airbnb has become more and more a hands-off experience not unlike visiting a hotel. (And not much cheaper than a hotel either!) So I'd like to return to the practice of Couchsurfing because I like meeting people.

I participate in local annual festivals, usually of the nerd-art/tech-art variety. Four of my recent creations:
2017: A video synthesizer made from a credit card sized computer.
2017: Software that generates and then cuts out jigsaw puzzles from vinyl record covers.
2017: An interactive video about a magical lucha, created with live action footage in under 24 hours with a volunteer father and son, made in the style of Dragon's Lair (recently featured in Season 2 of Stranger Things).
2016: An arcade game that can only be won by walking around the city finding hidden jars.
