About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to learn as much as possible while I'm here on this amazing planet. I love traveling because it teaches me so much about myself and others.

ABOUT ME

Since graduating from UC Berkeley a few ago, I worked in Guatemala for a year, road tripped through the US, traveled/farmed in Argentina, lived/worked in London, and followed my boyfriend to Germany to play basketball!

We're finally back living in the Bay Area, and would love to host people looking to explore. I love traveling, as much as I love the Bay Area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last fall I did a 3 months on road trip around the US (and a bit of Canada) with my partner, Mickey. We stayed and spent time with many couch surfers. Our time with CSers was the best part of our road trip experience.

Most recent couch surfing experience was in Argentina this past Dec. I was visiting my brother, and stayed with an amazing family in Buenos Aires; I feel like part of their family now.

I have hosted a few people in Berkeley as well. Always good times!

Interests

National parks, wheelchair basketball, trying new foods, all water sports/activities, and good meals + conversation.

Currently Reading: The Help

My favorite fiction book: Caucasia (Danzy Senna), and Harry Potter series because it's just too much fun

My favorite non-fiction books: Confessions of an Economic Hit Man (John Perkins), and The Omnivore's Dilemma (Michael Polan).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling off the cost of Belize, walking around 100 years of fascinating history in Berlin, and realizing how pretty my walk to work in San Francisco is.
