ABOUT ME

I love love love traveling and meeting new people, especially those from other countries. I caught the travel bug early on -- growing up, my summers were always spent in Tokyo, shopping or running around on the beach.

I can't stay put for long and tend to try to pack wayyyy too much into one day. I'd rather sacrifice sleep to do something awesome (everyone who knows me can attest to this!)

My purse feels empty without a book inside. . .

Music: indie stuff, oldies but goodies, 90s guilty pleasures, interesting electronica, classical concerts ... pretty much anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We trekked down the Grand Canyon one drizzly, cold afternoon, spent a muddy night shivering under a makeshift picnic bench tent, and ran back up the next day. . . awesome! Then we went straight back to Vegas for some Vegas-style fun.

Also: skydiving and swimming with the dolphins in Hawaii

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking, especially big pots of soups and curries, and think it's even better when people cook with each other...

I am ALWAYS eager to practice speaking in any language. . . if you know a different language, teach me some, and I can teach you the ones I know :)
