Overview
About Me
To explore the world with an open mind, maintain my curiosity about the unknown, and find the perfect balance between the logic of mathematics and the freedom of rock & roll.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel is not just about sightseeing; it is about the people you meet. I joined this community to break the bubble of being a tourist. I want to live like a local, eat like a local, and understand the world through the eyes of the people I meet.
Whether I am hosting or surfing, I cherish the exchange of stories and perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I have a taste for classic and meaningful lyrics. Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Guns N' Roses. For Chinese rock, I love Cui Jian and Zhang Chu.
Books: I enjoy literature that makes me think about existence and society. George Orwell (1984, Animal Farm), Albert Camus (The Stranger). Wang Xiaobo (a great Chinese writer with a unique sense of humor).
Movies: Jiang Wen (his movies are full of energy and metaphors), Lou Ye, Zhang Yuan. I appreciate films that reflect reality and human nature.

Survived
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about your culture and your personal philosophy of life.
If you like cooking, please teach me a signature dish from your country!
I am currently learning Japanese, so any practice would be great.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Souvenirs from my journey: I always carry small souvenirs, postcards, or local snacks from the last country or city I visited. I would love to share these little surprises with you as a gift! It’s my way of bringing a piece of the world to your home.
Authentic Chinese Cooking: I am a confident cook! I can make delicious Chinese food for you. In my culture, sharing a meal is the best way to make friends.
Stories & Conversations: I have plenty of stories from my travels and my life as a teacher in China. I am always ready for a deep conversation about culture, music, or life over a beer or tea.
Language & Culture: I can teach you Mandarin or Cantonese, and introduce you to the Chinese underground rock music scene if you are interested!
