About Me

Hello, Moin Moin and welcome to my Couchsurfing profile.
My name is Bo Sturm, I'm a 22 year old Student from northern Germany who's recently studying in Lüneburg, a nice little city south of Hamburg. It's my great intention to meet new people, learn new things and make unforgattable experiences abroad. Living in a foreign country, together with other people that share my views, seems to be the best way to realise this dream.

I would describe myself as a very open minded person who loves to communicate and laugh a lot but who's also respectful and cooperative.
In my freetime I love to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, underwaterrugby and other sports (like surfing), meet friends or go out at night.
Since one year I'm working as a Techno DJ and I totally love that!

My upcoming project will be an Erasmus stay in San Sebastian! :)

I'm really looking forward to meet up with you and get to know you!

Hope to see you soon,
cheers,
Bo Sturm

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing offers me the unique chance, to be not just a tourist, who takes some photos of the citys main attractions and than goes back to his all inclusive hotel. It gives me the chance to really experience and live the place that I'm staying at because there's someone with me who can show me his or her city in a unique and indidual way!!
If you're staying in a hotel or a holiday appartement during your vacation in another country it can be very nice and chilled. But for me there are mainly two things that argue against staying in a hotel or payed appartement. The first is the money and flexibility. As a student I want to travel as cheap and as flexibel as possible. Couchsurfing offers me the unique chance to stay wherever I want and whenever I want almost for free. The second and most importand reason why i prefere Couchsurfing, is that I can immerge way more intensive in the culture of the country and the life of the city. I really hope to meet new awesome people that show me something of the places, the people and the life of their city.
