Like most on this site, I lead an active lifestyle and crave adventure. I am a single father of two amazing daughters.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither endure much nor suffer much, for they they know not victory nor defeat.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This type of travel is new for me and I bring my enthusiasm to help build the community...not to mention bad jokes and pretty good dancing (but not at the same time).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first one this past year in Zurich, Switzerland. It was very rewarding.

I am into fitness...lifting weights, running, mountain biking, snowboarding, surfing, golf, tennis, etc. I also love to read, learn about new cultures, and TRAVEL (of course).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Louisiana a month before Hurricane Katrina hit and I've been back twice since then. Our psychology department helped triage the trauma-afflicted. The devastation --environmental and psychological-- was unbelievable.
