About Me

I am an easy going person. I have always felt that I am an old soul with a young spirit. I enjoy good travel, good food, good drinks, good music, good times and most importantly - good company.

To me, life is about meeting people and sharing memories and experiences. I see the Couchsurfing as just that, a chance to meet interesting people, explore new places and be a part of this breathing, moving world we are all part of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First and foremost I enjoy meeting people. Further than that, work has me travelling from time to time - I would rather travel lighter and meet interesting people than be stuffed up in a hotel room by myself. Simple as that.

I hope to host people when I am more settled into a place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: That's a big question. It's really whatever strikes my fancy at any given time and my tastes are diverse, but some standbys are definitely Dr. Dog, Passafire, Tycho, Weatherbox, Cloudkicker, Scale the Summit and Protest the Hero.

Movies: Smaller question, but an old roommate once told me "You have an incredibly eclectic taste in movies." In my opinion, if it's a well made movie - I'll probably like it.

TV: Trailer Park Boys. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Parks & Recreation. Rick and Morty. etc. etc.

Books: This is something I've been meaning to come back to for a while. I used to read a bunch in high school - mostly heavy fantasy like The Wheel of Time series, but tapered off when I got to college (for, ya know... college reasons). I've since restarted the series and am dedicated to finally finishing what I've begun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took 3 of my friends, put a whole bunch of camping gear in a car and drove around the country for 3 weeks sleeping wherever we could pitch a tent (or find some friendly hippies to lend us a couch). We climbed on cliffs in national parks, drove across badlands and explored our own consciousness and life at Bonnaroo.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love all three of those things. I believe through sharing you can both teach and learn. Life is to give and we all share the responsibility to act as both teachers and pupils to each other.

Also, I will happily teach you anything you'd like to know about beer/brewing within my own working knowledge, preparing Turkish coffee on a stovetop and I absolutely love trying to teach people how to play the didgeridoo. ..it's not as easy as it looks!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company and good vibes, of course.

At any given time I may or may not have homebrewed beer or my turkish coffee pot. If I do, I am happy to share either or both.

If you own a piano I will serenade you with Chopin and Brahms (don't ask me to sing though).

Oh, and my didgeridoo. If I am driving you can 100% guarantee I will have my didge with me.
