Hey there,

My name is Bob Luo, and I have just started to use Couchsurfing:)

I finished elementary and middle schools in China before I left for high school in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I later finished my undergraduate from Indiana University Bloomington, USA and then decided to move to New Zealand. Now I just started my new job as a supply chain data analyst in Auckland, New Zealand. Eventually, I want to go back to China and open a school there.

I love hiking and exploring nature. I hiked for 250Kms in 10 days in South Island, New Zealand, with my friends last summer. I am also able to tell most countries' history as history lets me see many interesting stories from the past.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE meeting people from different cultures and countries. I always want to experience how people live and think in different parts of the world.

I haven't really used Couchsurfing before, but a friend showed me how CS can be a great tool to make friends even before visiting a place. It would be really awesome to hang out with local friends and have an authentic local experience:)

I used to use Airbnb a lot, but I also want to have more interaction with local hosts to explore the culture and get to know more people from the place. Hopefully, Couchsurfing would be the tool to help me make those connections.
