About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm currently in my last year as an undergraduate studying philosophy and art history. I grew up in North Carolina but have spent the past few years in New Haven, Connecticut with a one-year stint in Seoul, South Korea. I'm a big supporter of the visual arts (though not very talented myself) and have spent a lot of time working in various museums on curation, education, and apprenticing with artists' studios. I love to travel when I get the chance, and have found that meeting new people is the most meaningful way to get to know a new place.
PHILOSOPHY
Still working on it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I cannot host during the school year, but would be happy to during the summer (depending on where I am) and in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some great experiences couchsurfing in the United States on extended road trips. I haven't had the chance to couchsurf over the past couple of years but hope to during some upcoming travels.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading, especially: Toni Morrison, Margaret Atwood, Edith Wharton, Virginia Woolf, and Tolstoy. For music, lately going through an 80's phase (Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths, Depeche Mode); generally have a thing for 90's female solo artists and electronic music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I grew up out in the country in rural North Carolina, and one day a stray cow wandered into our yard. We let her stay and she lived with us for a few weeks before wandering somewhere else.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can't say I'm very good at much, but I'm always willing to learn & see new things.
