PHILOSOPHY

Sceptic, in the sense of not accepting blindly. I find it too hard to say anything definite about existence, so I can't really say I have any firm philosophical opinions ... except that it's difficult to have firm philosophical opinions!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly by hosting. I have been quiet on couchsurfing over the last few years as we've been hosting lots of bicyclists through warmshowers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet travellers and bring a little bit of their world into our home. And when travelling, it's a fantastic way to meet local people and see places with their eyes. It makes travelling so, so much more rewarding!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

A wide variety of music, especially traditional/folk music, quieter vocal-based music, but also dance music like salsa, afro-pop ... most things except opera and heavy metal I'll give a go!

Tree-planting in northern Canada; five months bike-riding and camping up the east coast of Australia.
Being a new parent is the amazing thing I'm doing now.
