Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To add value to the world - to give back more than I take from it.
ABOUT ME
The main thing about me is my concern for the people and planet - this means that I'm also very interested in politics. I've worked in sustainable energy and am now studying sustainable agriculture (permaculture) in South America. I plan to start my own business when I return to the UK.
My second main interest is dancing. I jive, swing and dance the blues. I'm learning salsa and tango in South America. Few things can beat an evening with good music and nice women in your arms.
And finally, I'm an adventure sport junkie. My main one being climbing, but I'm happy to do just about anything, particularly if it involves being outdoors amongst beautiful scenery.
PHILOSOPHY
If you have a choice between trying something new or doing something that you know you enjoy - try something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted quite a few people in Nottingham, and thoroughly enjoyed all of those experiences. I'm hoping to stay with a few people in South America.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Many years ago, long before I heard of couchsurfing, I let a South African fellow (who I met in a kebab house at 2am) kip in the spare room as he had nowhere else to go.

Here's a bunch of keywords about me: tango, lindy hop, renewable energy, permaculture, organic, liberal social politics, music, blues, jazz, swing, whisky, real ale, women, photography, food, cooking, reading, travelling, culture, playing bridge.

Teach, Learn, Share
Love to.
I can introduce you to dancing or climbing, I can tell you about renewable energy and I can help you out with maths (if that's really what you would want to learn).
