Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing experience.: I’ve stayed with a CS host though it ended up not being via this app and we’ve been friends now since 2014. I’m happy to provide references of any kind either my Rover profile for pet sitting or my Air B&B profile with over a dozen 5-star reviews.

There’s 2 types of folks on here. 1) genuinely want to have conversations with hosts and or get to know the town/city/locals. 2) freeloaders who just don’t want to pay for a hotel and are looking for a free place to drop their luggage and leave. I’m the former:)
