ABOUT ME

Down to Earth, courteous, fun loving, can be a little sarcastic at times, but only for a few laughs, I appreciate the small things, & yet love the big things also!
At my grandparents' house, i grew up reading 'National Geographic', ok...looking at all the photos, feeding my passion of travel. My grandparents took me on many trips. Talking with the locals and befriending everyone. Always finding a special place to explore! Now, I am divorced and seeking to explore my own journeys! I have 3 daughters who are just beginning to understand the world out there & all it has to offer. It is so exciting to watch them grow and explore their own journeys! (& maybe a journey with mom here & there)
I have a long "adventure list"! Just a few:
ice climbing,
rock climbing,
kayaking,
more canoeing,
hike the Appalachian Trail,
enjoy more MT views,
Redwoods,
Napa Valley,
New England states,
enjoy more "toes in the sand" moments,
(I could go on & on, but I'll save that for later)...

PHILOSOPHY

Learning to appreciate all the gifts the Universe has to offer is very humbling! (& sometimes overwhelming) If sharing with others helps them, however small, I have lived.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbee- I've known of couchsurfing since the 90's...but was proudly raising my children. Now they are slowly leaving the nest & I have more opportunities to travel this way. I want to learn more!!

Interests

healthy living, running, picking great finds at auctions, or antique stores, outdoors, snowmobiling (yes, i can be a moterhead- grew up on a farm with brothers), gardening, hiking, cooking, DIYer, & LOTS MORE...

I grew up running around the timbers! Always enjoying what nature laid out to explore!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Proudly raised 3 amazing daughters! Watching them become young women of their own strong-willed mind! (which can be a problem when their mother is also strong willed -LOL)
