After growing up in Georgia, I traveled around the U.S in a van with my dog, Donovan. I then settled down for a bit to get a degree and after a season in Nag's Head N.C., I moved to Colorado. I fell in love with the mountains and filled my time with snowboarding, rafting, climbing 14ers and concerts. I started to get the itch to travel again. Each of the last three years I was fortunate enough to take an international trip. First was to Paris, Italy and Greece on the way to Tanzania and Kenya for Kilimanjaro and safari. Next was Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. Most recently I was in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, and Tanzania as a support driver for #Joburg2Kili. Upon returning to the States, my girlfriend, Kristin, and I moved back to Georgia to spend the holiday season with my family. We are currently planning to leave on about May 1st to travel by van to the eastern coast of Canada and across the entire width of Canada to the west coast. I am excited about life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People make the world go round. One of the greatest parts of travel is meeting new people and being introduced to new perspectives. I look forward to sharing experiences and life with folks as I travel along in this life. As Kristin and I travel from Georgia (planning to leave about May 1st) to the east coast of Canada and then across Canada to the west coast, we hope to meet new folks and of course we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to have places to stay along the way.
