I grew up traveling every summer through the canoe country of northern Minnesota and northern Ontario. My senior year of high school was abroad in Warsaw, PL. When I came back to the US, I decided to move to Hawai'i to teach environmental education and group leadership with the YMCA on the north shore of Oahu. After this I enrolled at the University of Hawai'i. Minnesota eventually called me back and now I have been living here, working in the service industry for about 10 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Morgan first showed me Couchsurfing after traveling Australia and New Zealand for a few years. He has nothing but good things to say. I'm always excited to show people Minneapolis and make new friends. Traveling is such an important part of life and if I can help people with that then all the better!
