One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, this is a hard question. Hmmm, probably my experience to Victoria Peaks in Hong Kong. I was in Bangkok about to step on the flight and spontaneously decided that I was going to explore Hong Kong (like literally 15 minutes before the flight). So I Googled, "Best things to do in Hong Kong." I found Victoria Peaks. So the flight was left Bangkok at 130 AM and got into Hong Kong at 430AM (which meant I got no sleep). I rushed through immigration and caught the first train out of the airport. From the train I arrived in the city with no knowledge on how to get to the peak. From talking to train employees they advised me to take a bus across the street... Well there were 20 different busses across the street. Finally from talking to locals I found the right bus. I stepped on the bus and handed the driver cash, he said, "NO." I had no idea what he meant by this. After about 2 minutes of trying to communicate with the bus driver a man came over named, Eric. He paid for my bus fare and gave me $20 Hong Kong dollars. I could not believe the incredible generosity he showed me. I tried giving the money back and paying him for my fare, but he would not have any of it. We rode the bus talking about life in Hong Kong, had an incredible conversation and then we arrived at his stop. Soon after saying goodbye to Eric I made it to the peak. Supposedly the peak is constantly surrounded by tourists, and is cloudy, but on this day it was 7 AM and I was the only one up there. After exploring a bit I heard my name being called out, it was Eric. He came up with his car to check if I had made it. He then gave me his business card and told me to give him a call if I needed anymore help. The generosity that this man showed was so amazing. After talking with Eric I found a Buddhist Monastery, which is where I took my selfie (in profile pictures). I then rushed back to the airport and made my flight with time to spare. This story would have never happened without saying, YES. The most amazing thing I have ever done is saying, YES to the ideas I or others have come up with. SAY YES :)
