ABOUT ME

Reflective, caring and empathetic, I try to tread carefully in most areas of my life, although I would like to learn to live a bit more recklessly from time to time. That said I am capable of being spontaneous, I moved to Paris just for a change after living in London for 5 years. I find that I get on with a wide variety of people young and old and always manage to find some common ground. I like nothing more than a stimulating conversation over a coffee or a beer, I love ending the day feeling like I've learned something new.

Politeness costs nothing - treat people the way you would like to be treated - forgive negative first impressions, give people a second chance, they may have just been having a bad day!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old school BBC comedy - Ab Fab, Black Adder, Jeeves and Wooster, crime dramas, documentaries on all sorts. My favourite stand up comics are Dylan Moran and Eddie Izzard. Books-wise I would highly recommend The Shadow of the Wind for those in search of a gripping story and Freakonomics for those in search of a really fascinating alternative application of the tools economists use to measure how the world functions applied to answer questions such as 'How is the KuKluxKlan like a real estate agent' and 'What is more dangerous - a gun or a swimming pool?'
My music taste is pretty random, at the moment I am really enjoying listening to the HillTopHoods- an Aussie hiphop/rap group, Ed Sheeran, Tracey Chapman, Imogen Heap, Fat Freddie's Drop, ACDC, Joni Mitchell...
