I am from England and have recently returned to Europe after spending 3 years in NZ and Australia, over these three years i have been lucky enough to travel the world as well, going to se asia and south america along the way. I agree with the whole concept of Couchsurfing and find that yes it helps finiancially when travelling but the best thing is meeting people with some local knowledge and secrets about the city.
