This "about me" field seems a bit redundant above the subsequent fields. But I suppose we can start there, Less is more. I mean, I've pared my belongings down to a suitcase and a carry-on bag's worth (more on that in the next field, see?). I'm practical, analytical, but also philosophical and passionate. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a freelance web designer allows me to travel the world. I'm based in the bay because the business is good for me here, but I'm a nomad. I want to meet and connect with new people and expand my horizons. I grew up in the middle of the USA, isolated. When I moved to SF, I was enriched by experiencing new things. After living here 6 years, I'm wanting to experience the rest of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films by all the Andersons, Roy Anderson (Songs from the Second Floor), Paul Thomas Anderson (Magnolia), Wes Anderson. I also love Koyaanisqatsi for especially the Phillip Glass score. I love modern classical. I also love FM synthesis. I'm currently working on composing contemporary electronic music using sounds from the Sega Genesis sound chip (my favorite synth). This is the tip of the iceberg, I love so much more, so many things to list. Bottom line, I'm alive and curious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Selling everything I own, paring down to a suitcase and carry on bag , and catching a hot air balloon (figuratively speaking), feels pretty damn amazing. I have no plans, just a heart and a map.

I can offer some instruction on how to make websites, html, illustrator, css, what ever you want. I can also help with small projects if you need a personal website, troubleshooting with an existing one, logo design, illustration. And if you're not opposed, I like to leave things in better shape than when I found them so I may have the urge to clean (damn Virgo venus).
