Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To hang out and make visitors of Stockholm Sweden feel like they are at home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had one Couchsurfing experience and it was in new zealand, he was truly something special.

The thing that was really amazing is that he represented New Zealand in the Bejing 2008 olympics, how cool is that? him walking into the gigant stadium with people like vladimir putin and george bush as spectators? :)

Interests

I love playing the guitar and have done so for over 5 years, i also want to learn the piano! it is my wonderful ambition to someday speak 10 languages (im up to 2 and a half :) ). And like most people i like films and music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: to many to list, but movies that has a special place in my heart is Almost Famous, Into the Wild and American beauty.

My favorite books inlcude is Catcher in the Rye, The hours, the fantasy series "A Song of Fire and Ice" and "The Stranger".

Music: almost everything but if i had to give examples of some favorites: Radiohead, The Who, Pixies, Joni Mitchell, Sigur ros, Beastie boys, Björk, Nine inch nails, Ryan Adams, Tv on the Radio, M83, The Roots, U2, My bloody valentine, Daft Punk, R.E.M., Public Enemy, Yo la Tengo, Jeff Buckley, Bach... yeah you get the picture, pretty much everything ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Lying alone in a floating bed in the Adriatic ocean surrounded by a deserted beach while overlooking at a sunset.

2. Hitchhiked over 200km in New Zealand to jump out of a plane 4000 meters above sealevel over two glaciars, tropical rainforest, mt cook and the tasman sea.

3. Jumped the worlds highest bungyjump in Macau, China, scariest thing i've done but atleast there was a beer included towards the end. In retrospect it would have been cheaper to go to a pub.

4. Climbed Mount Ngauruhoe (Mount Doom in the LOTR-trilogy). The most escruziating thing i have ever been trough, and this comes from a man who grew up in a Yugoslavian houshold!
