About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life!

ABOUT ME

I love making music, although I don't think I'm good at it. I love cooking, so if yo like meat, you'll be in for a treat!

I have a girl friend who I love very much, and she also is traveling with me. She's a musician too and also in for a great laugh!

I'm currently traveling with two others friends to, but we split up some times, because it's more convenient.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in different things. I feel drawn to Buddhism, but I'm not a Buddist. I like that the see the body as an temple, and that they are very humble, the way the treat each other, with respect, dignity and love. Even though you don't even know each other. Such a beautiful culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How can you get the most culture..? From locals! So there's no better way to get to know a place, then threw locals and threw couch surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing with two people now. Both in the area of Brisbane.

Kevin was great. He took us to a koala resort and swimming. We cooked for him and had lots of fun. We stayed there with the four of us.

I am currently staying in Manly, with Bruce. Bruce is an good guy too. We have a room for our own, the four of us. An own shower and we can use the washing machine. He lives near the harbor, and if you're in for a nice walk along the sea side and see some blue jellyfish, just put on your shoes and you're at the harbor in a few minutes.

At both places we felt so welcome and blessed with the people we could stay.

This is a great site, for great experiences!

Interests

I love making music, taking a stroll along the sea, cooking an awesome dinner, watching a good movie and seeing beautiful things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen and done so many amazing things.

When I stood on the Eiffel Tower, we saw the rain coming at us. It was very surreal, but so beautiful.

When I was in Thailand I had an elephant ride, a hike through the "wild". But an really awesome thing I saw, was a night of thunder. We were on an island, and there was a restaurant about ten meters in the sea. There was a boot you took to get to the restaurant. You had to pull the rope of the boot to move the boot. When we were in the restaurant, you sat at "tables". Your feet hang under the floor, while you sat on the floor on pillows, and the table was made of glass. So when you looked down you could see your feet, the sea and the most beautiful fish. We sat there about an half hour when it began to rain and thunder. It was beautiful. We saw the lighting go into land kilometers away. Picture that when you stand there in the restaurant, and you can see the city in the distance. Then you see lighting strike into the land. It was so beautiful. I made pictures. In the beginning I was very worried, but the people in the restaurant told us that in the city they have lighting disguises, where the lighting strikes. Any who, it was beautiful.

I saw many more things, so if you want to know more stories we can just do that over a great cup of tea!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share and teach. I can maybe teach you a bit about the Netherlands or some other countries in Europe. I can share my music knowledge with you, it's not much, but it is something.
I love to learn new things, so come and teach me!
