About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To raise enough money to go back to San Francisco!
ABOUT ME
Hmmmmm. What better than making a list of things I like?
Lots of music, films, footie (of the English variety), cricket, drinking, dancing when drunk, making stupid noises whether drunk or not, making music with people, lying on my back on cold concrete RV spots and staring at the stars in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi, meeting fellow travellers with warped senses of humour and the American South.
What I don't like:
Waiting for the Greyhound, travelling on the Greyhound for more than 3 hours, realising that my money probably isn't going to go as far as I thought it would, the thought that I have to get a job when I go home, arrogant fools and Minton Sparks (I don't care if she tapdances - she's just not very good!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spent the summer travelling around America, where I surfed on a few different couches, and now I'm hoping I can repay the favour!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was attacked by kittens in Chicago, attacked by a crazy student in St Louis, and attacked by a massive record collection in Nashville. All were spot on.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm passionate about music and studied it at university. Bands I love include Radiohead, The Wrens, The National, Elbow and Arcade Fire. I play the piano and guitar and used to sing in a band, so I like to be fairly creative!
A few films I thoroughly enjoy are Amelie, Goodfellas, A Very Long Engagement, Godfathers 1 and 2, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
I've just read Bee Season by Myla Goldberg because The Decemberists sang a song about her and I enjoyed that. I also love Perfume by Patrick Suskind, The Dice Man, and anything by Stephen Fry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got a lift in the back of a Sheriff's car in Grenada, Mississippi! Yep, that's about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If anybody is interested in learning how to play G, D and C on the guitar then I'm your man! Well, maybe. I'm sure there's somebody better at that then me. But Richie Sambora's probably busy right now.
I'd love to, if not learn, then at least have a go on a harp.
