ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old Senior at Lehigh University. I enjoy parties and would highly recommend our local beer brand--Yuengling--but am also just as happy grabbing a cup of coffee and chatting about life!

I am the 4th in a family of 8, lived in South Africa for 7 years of primary school, and am currently trying to make it through my last year of college.

People are awesome! I love spending time with both friends and family, and am always happier when I have people to visit with.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's very important to live well--be good to others and treat people with the respect they deserve. I certainly have more specific religious, philosophical and political viewpoints, but my favorite thing is to discuss and argue these things, so alternate opinions are always welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I won't be surfing myself until one of the holiday breaks, but my it's quite likely that my couch would be open.

I've told 2 of my good traveling friends about couch surfing, and am already thinking of taking a surfing trip with one or both of them over Christmas break.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about Couch Surfing through Cara Bradley (Australia) while on a road trip out west. We met her and a bunch of couch surfers while on a hike, and she got me signed up that evening at a party!

Interests

Music certainly is the top interest. I have over 10,000 songs in my iTunes library, and enjoy listening to pretty much every genre out there. I sign in the Lehigh University Choir as well as elsewhere and sort of play piano.

Other than that I like people, reading, hiking, walking, chatting, volleyball etc.

Substances: I drink some, enjoy the occasional cigar or pipe but don't smoke cigarettes. I don't smoke pot, but usually don't mind if others do but aren't pushy about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many cool things in this world. I do tend to favor natural things such as the Mt. McKinley range in Alaska, the Tetons in Wyoming, the Drankensberg mountains in South Africa, the beautiful California coastline and redwoods etc. but I do admit there are some really cool man-made things too...Legoland in San Diego was pretty awesome for instance.
